Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,

With the construction of the New Replacement BJHS almost complete we are entering the final 6 weeks of schooling in our current school building.  As we finish up our current school year, BJHS Staff have been downsizing their classrooms and preparing to pack for this historic move at the end of June.  

As you could imagine, this is a huge and time consuming job.  As a result, Grasslands Board of Trustees have adjusted the year end BJHS Calendar for our students only.  This means the last day of school for students at BJHS has been rescheduled to June 23rd at 3:30 PM. Students will write their last final exam (Science) on June 23rd in the AM and in the PM prepare for the end of the year and collect their report cards at the end of the day.  This will give our staff the opportunity and undisturbed time to pack up all our teaching resources and materials to be moved into the new school. 

I would like to thank you in advance for your understanding.  I am pretty sure our students will be thrilled with a little longer summer break and I realize this might cause some difficulties for some families.  As always, should you have any questions or concerns regarding this change or any other educational items related to your child please feel free to contact me.
